Keeping together

To all our valued members…

We are aware that the current concerns going on in the world at the moment may continue for a while and we want to stress the importance of our members staying connected and to do whatever it takes for our group to stay together.

Many of our members struggle with social isolation and various other conditions which make socialising difficult at the best of times. We understand that many of our members are restricted to the contact they have with others and we hope that they can stay connected with us on our Facebook page and through our website. If anyone has any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us via email and we will do our best to reassure you that everything is going to be alright.

Recently it has been brought to my attention that the Zoom app has been instrumental in helping groups of people stay connected and it may be something which our members might consider as a worthy means of staying connected. It seems to be a step up from the Whatsapp approach although anything which helps our members stay connected is strongly suggested as something which may be of great value to our group. We cannot officially endorse these means of communications but in extreme circumstance all we can do is the best we can.

Please can all our members be mindful of others and remember our 4 principles of feeling:

Accepted
Respected

Safe
and
Understood

and can we all do the best we can to keep everyone connected in a spirit of harmony.

Remember we are not alone with our struggles and by staying together, we will be alright.

Stay safe and take care
